Good bye razor burn and hello smooth skin! By removing hair from the root, waxing provides significantly longer results than shaving. Overtime, most people will notice thinner and sparser hair growth after consistent waxing.
Time frames between waxes do depend on a variety of factors, such as hair growth speed, however most clients return for appointments every 4 - 6 weeks.
We prefer working with soft wax because of its versatility and efficiency. Soft wax has the ability to be used on any body part and adheres well to both coarse and fine hairs. It is more gentle on the skin compared to hard wax, minimizing discomfort during the waxing process, and provides a smooth and even finish.
While there is no exactly correct length, we always say the longer the better! So no need to trim before your appointment. We recommend that your hair be at least the length of a grain of rice.
We won't lie to you; waxing can be uncomfortable. But, the pain fades quickly after the strip is removed. We also stand by the opinion that this discomfort is worth the results! We say the most similar discomfort would be a sunburn but once we apply pressure and move on to the next section the sensation is gone!
Are you concerned about ingrown hairs, skin irritation, dark spots, or just want to end your service on a relaxing note? We will apply DMK skin care products to the waxed area at the end of the service to help with these problem areas. This additional service includes a cleanse, exfoliation, masque, red LED light, and finishing products.
If you find that your travels won't lead you here quite like you thought and you need to cancel or reschedule please give us a holler at least 12 hours before your appointment. If not, we'll have to rope ya with a 50% cancellation/no-show fee based on the total service price. We reckon that's fair and square. Thanks for understanding!
Absolutely! We just require a tampon/cup during the service
You can still come in! We have noticed with pregnancy there may be more reaction to the skin due to hormones but that's completely normal!
